John Norcross came to America from England in 1638. He purchased land in Cambridge, Massachusetts and lived there until 1642 when he returned to England. His son William was born in England. Peter Youngblood, a Palatine, was born prior to the early 1700's. He arrived in America prior to 1728 and settled in disputed territory between Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and Frederick County, Maryland. John David Parkhurst (b.1917) was the son of William Elisha Parkhurst and Cornie Mae Parks of Bridger, Carbon Co., Montana. The family moved to Pasco, Franklin Co., Washington in the 1920's. He married Grace Allee Covey in 1942. He was a descendant of the Parks, Cornett /Cornutt and Collins families of Grayson Co., Virginia. Several generations of ancestors are given.

Jacob Nay (ca.1723/1724-1828) immigrated in 1726 or 1727, with his mother, Caty (Catherine) Nay, from Germany to Fauquier County, Virginia. In 1804 he and his family moved to Marion and Harrison Counties, Virginia (later West Virginia), where he died when he was over 100 years old. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois and elsewhere.

John L. Cox was born 25 December 1798 in North Carolina. He married Nancy Price, daughter of William Price and Elizabeth Eaton, in 1820 in Posey, Indiana. They had ten children. He died in 1867 in Saline, Illinois. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Illinois and Arkansas.
