Thomas Jones (1789-1846) was born in Cumberland County, North Carolina to Daniel Jones. About 1808 he married Elcy and they were the parents of ten children. All of the children were born, raised and died in North Carolina, leaving a large posterity who live in North Carolina, South Carolina and other parts of the United States.

Thomas Paul McDermott was born ca. 1832 in Ross Common, Ireland, the son of John McDermott (ca. 1803-1846) and Mary McDermott. John Henry Barwick (1869-1948) was born in Lenoir County, North Carolina and married Sarah May Coward (1869-1963) in 1891. He died in Kinson, North Carolina. William Womack (b.ca.1605/1610), probably a Quaker, immigrated from England to Henrico County, Virginia, and married widow Mary Jane Allen. Their first son was born in 1644. John Pittman (1726-1785) married Mary (Polly) Rowe (1730-1810) in 1747 in Virginia. They had eleven children, 1748-1773. The family migrated from Buckingham County, Virginia, to Edgefield District, South Carolina, and then before 1770 to St. Paul's Parish (later Columbia County), Georgia. He and five of his sons served in the Revolutionary War. Descendants lived in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Kentucky, Texas and elsewhere.

Abraham Lesher was born in Berks County, Pennsylvania, 15 May 1757. He served in Capt. Keefer's Company of Berks County Militia, during the Revolutionary War. After the war, he moved west to Bedford County, Pennsylvania, where he married Elizabeth Humbert, about 1790. They had six sons and six daughters. He died 19 May 1839. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Illinois, Kansas and elsewhere.
