Spencer Wayne Shankle, son of Ira Shankle and Dora Mabry, was born in 1907 in Albemarle, North Carolina. He married Susie Jane Poore (1916-2011), daughter of William Duke Poore, Minnie Esther Dillon. They had two sons. He died in 1981 in Gloucester, Virginia.

Franz Christopher Wolff (1699-1740) was the grandson of Jens Lauritzon Wolff (1584-1660) of Norway. Franz was probably born in Norway. He married Inger Bruun 4 January 1729. They lived in Christiana, Norway and were the parents of six children. Two of their children moved to England by the year 1760. Descendants lived primarily in England, Wales, Norway and elsewhere.

Roxelane Putnam (1797-1867) was the daughter of Bailey Putnam (b.1770) and Anna Bailey (1775-1850) of Charlestown, New Hampshire.
