The Branch covers the areas of Hastings and Prince Edward counties. Also covers Lamoareax Village in Alberta, Bellville, Sophiasburg Township, Thurlow Township. Contains the following: genealogies of various families, Bible records, military records, historical sketches, membership records, cemetery records, vital records, and other miscellaneous records.

Saskatchewan was part of the area of Canada known as the North-West Territories from 1870 until 1905 when it became a province.

The township ledgers are organized by lots (nos. 1-67). They contain the names of the persons who purchased land and a list of payments by date for each person. The beginning and ending dates vary for each person, thus the dates listed for each lot are approximate dates only. Most entries fall between 1866 and 1900.

Prince Edward Island was part of Nova Scotia until 1769. New Brunswick was part of Nova Scotia until 1784. The county of Sunbury, Nova Scotia covered most of what became New Brunwick. The county was re-established as Sunbury County, New Brunswick with its present boundaries in 1785.

The United Church of Canada was formed June 10, 1925 by the union of the Methodist and Congregational churches and seventy percent of the Presbyterian churches.
