Roger Prichard (ca. 1600-1671), and his wife, Frances, with their three children, immigrated to the Massachusetts Bay Colony, probably from Wales, no later than 1636. Frances died at Springfield, Massachusetts, in 1651. Roger then migrated to Milford, Connecticut, where he married 2) Elizabeth Prudden Slough, a widow and daughter of James and Sybil Mitchell Prudden, in 1653. They had two sons, 1654-1658. Roger Prichard (ca. 1600-1671), of Welch ancestry, his wife, Frances, and their three children, arrived in the Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1636. They family was living at Wetherfield, Massachusetts, in 1640, and at Springfield, Massachusetts, by 1643. Frances Prichard died at Springfield in 1651. He married 2) Elizabeth Prudden Slough, widow of William Slough, in 1653. They established their home at Milford, Connecticut. They had two sons, 1654-1658....

Joseph Pritchard Sr. was born 1681 and later became a mariner captain in Philadelphia. He married Susanna Tailor 7 July 1719. They were the parents of a son named Joseph II. Susanna died in 1723 and Joseph married Sarah Scutt 6 August 1724. They were the parents of a son named Joseph III. Joseph Sr. died in June of 1746 in Philidelphia, Pennsylvania. Descendants of Joseph Pritchard Sr. lived primarily in Pennsylvania.

Joseph Puntenney was born in either 1727 or 1728 and died before 26 August 1780 in Harford County, Maryland. He married Sarah Hollingsworth, daughter of George Hollingsworth and Hannah Nelson. She was born on 25 April 1739 in Baltimore County, Maryland and died before 30 December 1786. Descendants have resided primarily in Maryland, Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, and Utah.
