Description
Thomas Earl (1762-1844) was born at sea while his parents were immigrating to America. He grew up in Dorchester County, Maryland and married Rhoda Busick in 1791. In about 1801 Thomas and his family moved to Ross County, Ohio where they lived the remainder of their lives. They were the parents of eight children. Descendants live in the United States.

Description
Franklin Purcell married (1) Margaret Jane Caplinger and (2) Nancy Louella Melvin. He had 13 children, two of which, Alonzo Gilbert (born 1888) and Elmer jessee (born 1891) were born in Adams County, Ohio. Descendants lived in Ohio and elsewhere.
