Description
Oswin Musgrave (ca. 1640-ca. 1687) was born in Cumberland, England. He married Elizabeth in Ireland before 1667. Their son, Moses (ca. 1667-ca. 1725/6), was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He married Elizabeth in Chester County, Pennsylvania ca. 1700. He died in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, Illinois, Oklahoma, Kansas, Washington, and elsewhere.

William Preston, a Quaker and friend of William Penn, emigrated to Pennsylvania from Yorkshire, England with his wife and three sons in 1718. His descendants included Sylvester Bills Preston who lived in Maryland and moved to Iowa in 1839. Preston descendants still live on the land he settled. Short sketches are included for many recent descendants while letters and other documents are included for older descendants.

Richard Webb (1656-1719/20) was born in Gloucestershire, England. He came to Berks Co., Pa. in 1699 with William Penn on the Ship "Canterbury". He married ca. 1683 in England, Elizabeth Hoopes (1663-1727) of Wiltshire, England. Both died in Birmingham, Chester Co., Pennsylvania. They had ten children, nine born in England and one in Chester, Pa. Members of this family were Quakers.

Description
Caspar Strahl was born in Germany in 1730. He emigrated to America. Caspar married Rebecca Barger, the daughter of John and Mary Bargar. They were Quakers who lived in Berks County, Pennsylvania. Their children were Mary, Deborah, John, Philip, Isaac, Rebecca, Thomas, Joseph and Sarah. Caspar died in 1799.
