Peter Cleaver (1732-1819) mmoved from Pennsylvania to Port Penn, New Castle County, Delaware, and married Susannah Bacon in 1755. They possibly lived for awhile near Salem, New Jersey, but if so they returned to Port Penn. Susanna Cleaver (b.1789), a granddaughter, married John Price and also lived in Port Penn, Delaware. Descendants and relatives lived in Delaware, New Jersey, Maryland, New York, Ohio, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Oregon and elsewhere.

Francis Akeley, a immigrant ancestor, was living at Boston, Massachusetts, by 1750, when he married Tabitha Bull there. They had nine children, 1751-1769.
