John William Harvey (b.1811) married Jemima Nottingham, and moved from Great Marlow, Buckinghamshire to London, England. Of their ten children, five immigrated to the United States (some via Canada). Thomas Harvey (1846-1922), the oldest child, married Frances Sophia Roberts, and immigrated to Burnside, Connecticut, later moving to Middletown, Ohio.
