Joseph Brown was born in 1774, possibly in England or Virginia. He came to Doko, Fairfield County, South Carolina in the early 1800s. He married Margaret Tompkins and had at least three children. His son, Alexander (b. 1815), married Elizabeth Raines in about 1833. They had at least sixteen children. Alexander died sometime after 1870. Descendants and relatives lived in South Carolina, North Carolina, Arkansas and elsewhere.

Jennie Lee Dallas Glass was born in August 1868 in Missouri. Her parents were William Dallas Glass and Lucinda Jane Searcy. Jennie married John Birch and they had two children. She married (2) John Douglas Kabell about 1890 in Missouri and they had seven children. Jennie married (3) Clemens Leibold on August 15, 1923 in St. Louis, Missouri. Jean Joseph "Joe" Felix, son of Jean Felix, was born 18 Aug 1886 in Nancy, Meurthe et Moselle, France. He emigrated to the United States in 1903. Joe married Ottilia Julia Naegelen, daughter of Joseph A. Naegelen and Marie Louise Grisvard, about 1907 in Seattle, Washington. They had 5 children. Philip Fuchs (Fox) (1751-1815) married Catherine Lamer in 1772, and emigrated from Germany to York County, Pennsylvania. They later immigrated to Essex County, Ontario, Canada. Direct descendant Isaac Russel Fox (1843-1914) emigrated from Canada to Michigan, and then to West Virginia. He married Sarah Emma Catherine Kyer in 1880. James Wesley Raines (b.ca.1808/1809) lived in Cocke County, Tennessee, served in the Civil War for the Confederacy, and spent some time as a Union prisoner-of-war. Descendants and relatives lived in Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, Texas and elsewhere.
