They had twelve children. They emigrated in 1872 and settled first in Quebec and changed their name to Johnson. They lived in Illinois, Minnesota, and Utah. Rasmus died in 1922 in Park City, Utah. William Ramsdell (born 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio) is a descendant of one John Ramsdell (born 1602 in England) who married Priscilla (surname unknown) ca. 1640. They immigrated to America sometime prior to the year 1662. They lived in Massachusetts and were the parents of at least one known child. John died 27 October 1688 in Topsfield, Massachusetts.
