Joseph Rawson was born 3 April 1847 in Swanwick, Derbyshire, England and died 2 January 1926 in Plain City, Weber, Utah, United States. He married Elizabeth Wainwright on 31 July 1869 in Derbyshire. He joined the L.D.S. church in England and emigrated to Utah in 1870 spending most of his life in Plain City.

Ida Elizabeth Lea was born 25 June 1884 in Pierce County, Nebraska. Her parents were Frank Dean Lea and Anna Lea. Her grandparents were Rhoades Lea, Fanny Dean, Edward Lea and Martha Swift. She married Edward Hiram Rawson (1878-1962), son of Hiram A. Rawson and Josie. They had five children. She died 14 May 1971.

Juanita Belle Anderson (1924- ) was born in Diller, Nebraska to Wilferd E. Anderson (1888-1961) and Ruby May Colman (1895-1972). Both of her parents descended from early American settlers, including those from the Mayflower. In 1947 Juanita married Archie Le Roy Towle (1923-1993) who was also a native of Nebraska. They became the parents of four children. Descendants live in California.

Edward Rawson (1615-1693) was born at Gillingham, Dorsetshire, England. He was married in England to Rachael Perne, daughter of Thomas Perne and grand-daughter of John Hooker, whose wife was a Grindal, sister of Edmund Grindal. Edward Rawson emigrated to Newbury, in the Colony of Massachusetts Bay in 1637. He was a grantee of that town. Includes several generations of descendants.
