Gad Morris was born in 1830 in Georgia. His father was James Morris. He married Elizabeth Wansley (1828-1888), daughter of Nathan Whitten Wanslee and Grizzel Elizabeth Turner, 6 January 1852 in Rome, Georgia. They had eleven children. He died in 1878 in Brigham City, Arizona. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Georgia, Oklahoma, Utah, Idaho and Arizona. Includes Reaves and related families.

William Reaves (1844-1930) was born in Marion County, Arkansas. An orphan, he was living with the family of Jacob Tyler in Fulton County, Arkansas, in 1850; and with the family of James Cox in Wright County, Missouri, in 1860. He married Sarah Baney (1848-1902) in Texas County, Missouri, in 1869. They had eleven children, 1870-1893. He died at Mountain Grove, Missouri. John Smyer (1723-1790) was born in Germany and immigrated to Pennsylvania, ca. 1755. He and his wife, Elizabeth Keiffer, had six children, 1757-1765. The family migrated to Lincoln County, North Carolina, before 1772. He died in Lincoln County. Descendants listed, chiefly descendants of their grandson, Daniel Smyer (1787-1878), son of John Smyer (1752-1846), lived in North Carolina, Missouri, Texas, and elsewhere.

Andrew Carl Small (1889-1982) was the son of William Amos Small (1867- 1971) and Henrietta Delila Hinson (1869-1958) of Mecklenburg County, N.C. He married Lessie Mable Smith (1888-1978) in 1911.
