Description
Christian Risser (1804-1842) married Anna Rogy (1801-1802) and lived in Burchite, Lorraine, France. After his death, his widow and four children moved to Bavaria, Germany. In in 1850s, the oldest son immigrated to Spring Day, Illinois, and in 1852 the mother and family immigrated to join him.

Joseph Oyer (1814-1866) was probably the son of John Oyer from Alsace Lorraine, France. He emigrated to the area now known as Tazewell and Woodford Counties, IL. He married (1) Miss Augsburger? and (2) Magdalena Litwiller?. Nine children were born to the first marriage and six to the second. They settled at Wesley City, IL. Andre Sommer was born ca. 1700 at Lützelflüh or Sumiswald, Canton Bern, Switzerland.
