James Redmond married Anna Crandall, a descendant of William Brewster of the Mayflower. Anna Crandall was born in New England in 1747. Their son, James, was born ca. 1760-1770 in Orleans County, Vermont. Later generations of the family settled in New York State and, by 1900, had moved west to Kansas and Oklahoma. Edna Melissa Mead (1855-1932) was born in Underhill, Vt., and died in Williston, Vt. She was married to William N. Burnett (1853-1899) in 1880. He was also born in Underhill, Vermont. They had eight children. Descendants live in Vermont, Michigan, Florida, North Carolina, New York, Connecticut and elsewhere. Includes Burnett, Gosling, Hendricks, Prior, Rawson, Redmond and allied families.

Isaac Barnett (1853-1925) and MaryAnn "Minnie" Atkinson Barnett (1861- 1924), as well as their nine children, were born in the Township of Blanshard, County of Perth, Province of Ontario, Canada. One, son, Charles Albert Barnett (1883-1958) married Mary Ethel Switzer (1880- 1927). They had five children. Maxwell Atkinson Barnett, was the was the youngest. Eberhard Buerklin or Everhard Barkley I (fl.1752-1797) emigrated from Germany to Albany County, New York between 1752 and 1756. Four of his seven children became United Empire Loyalists, immigrated to various parts of Ontario in Canada. Some of his grandchildren also became United Empire Loyalists, including Mathias Barkley (d.1845/ 1851) and his family who settled in Dundas County, Ontario. James Reginald Ash, son of James Ash and Catherine, was born in 1901 Rugby, Warwickshire, England. He emigrated in 1912 and lived with the family of Herbert Cross in Beeton, Ontario. He married Elizabeth May Redmond in 1938 in Edmonton, Alberta.
