John Mallett immigrated to South Carolina from Rochelle, France in 1687. Daniel Mallett, a descendant,(1790-1845) married Clarissa Jones, daughter of John Jones of Milford, Connecticut, in 1813. They moved from New York to Connecticut to Ohio. They appeared in the 1830 U.S. Census for Ohio County, West Virginia but were back in Ohio by 1840. Daniel Mallett died 28 May 1845. "Dwight Harding was born at Sturbridge, Worcester County, Massachusetts, in 1807, and died at Willard, Box Elder County, Utah, in 1871." Travace Rees (174?-1817) was a Revolutionary War soldier and in Bute Co., North Carolina as early as 1771 with his wife, Ann. Moved to Greenville, South Carolina prior to 1790. Descendants and relatives lived in North Carolina, South Carolina, Missouri, Kentucky, Oregon and elsewhere.

Martin Aeschlimann, Sr. (1748-1808) emigrated from Switzerland to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and married Elizabeth Groff in 1765. He anglicized his surname to Eschleman or Eshleman, and later descendants spelled then surname Eshelman. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Idaho, Colorado, Ohio and elsewhere.

George Edward Dick III (1815-1883), grandson of George Dick I (ca.1765- 1835), married Margaret Ort, and emigrated in 1852 from Germany to Columbia, Ohio. Three of his brothers emigrated later, and his parents emigrated later still. Descendants and relatives lived in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Nebraska, Iowa, Colorado, Texas, Florida, Georgia, Montana and elsewhere. Includes some ancestry in Germany.
