Description
James Archbold O'Reilly died in Ireland in 1848. For many years before his death he kept a diary. The first 8 volumes were lost in England, and the 10th volume were lost by family members after arriving in America. For some unknown reason James was alienated from his family about 1840 although he really missed them. At least one of his sons came to America after his death and so his descendants also live in America today.
