Description
Brothers Robert, William, and John Neelly, of Scottish lineage, immigrated from Ireland to Ulster and Orange Counties in New York. James Neelly, the son of one of the three brothers, married Jane Grimes (Grymes) in 1740 at Philadelphia, and had at least six children born between 1741 and 1751 in Augusta County, Virginia. Descendants moved to the midwest.

Joseph Garrett (1857-1925) was probably born in Jackson Township, Vinton County, Ohio. He married Emily C. Graves in 1877. They moved to Fayette County, Ohio in 1881; to Lovington, Moultrie County, Illinois about 1900; and later to the Niantic-Warrensburg, Illinois area. Descendants and relatives lived in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, California and elsewhere.

The Rev. George Arthur Casaday was born April 3, 1908, in Santa Rosa, California. His parents were Fred W. Casaday and Myrtle Mary Renshaw. He married Roma Elizabeth Durant August 1, 1937 in the Christian Church in Watsonville, California. She was born April 12, 1914 in Rupert, Idaho. Roma died August 11, 1988 in Santa Clara, California. Art and Roma have three children, Sheryl, Kenneth, and Garth.

William Renshaw emigrated in 1620 from England to Northampton County, Virginia, later moving to Norfolk County, Virginia. John Renshaw (probably a descendant) married Frances Clark about 1688, and lived in Somerset County, Maryland. Descendants lived in Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Kansas, Colorado, California and elsewhere.

The earliest known ancestor of Ferdinand Hrdlicka was Martin Hrdlicka. Martin was born ca. 1630, married Katerina Fisrova in 1663, and died in 1695. Ferdinand was born in 1822 in Ceska Trebova, Bohemia to Anna Beranova and Joseph Matyas Hrdlicka. He married Anna Unzeitig in 1840. They had eleven children but only five lived to adulthood.
