Jacob V. Rhoads was born 12 April 1812 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. His parents were David Rhoads and Elizabeth Rhodes. He married Elizabeth Linton, daughter of Benjamin Franklin Linton and Lucy Crewdson, 19 March 1839 in Logan County, Kentucky. They had twelve children. He died in 1895. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia and Kentucky. Includes Knepper and related families.
