Piercifor F. Richards (1807-1886) was born in Wales. His family immigrated to the United States in 1813. The parents died on board ship and the five children were sent to various places to be cared for. Percifor was sent to live with a Baptist preacher's family at Uniontown, Pennsylvania. He migrated to Perry County, Ohio, ca. 1837. He married Elizabeth Mechling (1838-1867) in Perry County in 1838 and settled in Logan County, Ohio. They had eleven...

Piercifor Fraser Richards (1807-1886) immigrated in 1820 with his parents from Wales to New York. His parents either died at sea or during quarantine after landing. There may have been as many as five chldren, three boys and two girls, and possibly one of the boys was a twin of Piercifor, whose name would have been Percival Franklin Richards. Authorities farmed the children out where they could be cared for, and Piercifor went to Uniontown, Pennsylvania...

Piercifor Fraser Richards (1807-1886) emigrated in 1820 from Wales to New York with his parents and his twin brother, Percival Franklin Richards. P.F. moved to Pennsylvania and Ohio, where he lost contact with his twin, and married Elizabeth Mechling. They later moved to land near Strasburg, Shelby County, Illinois. Descendants and relatives lived in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, Nebraska, Montana, Arkansas and elsewhere.
