Joseph Elmer Williams was born 11 October 1892 in Beaver, Utah. His parents were Joseph Williams (1866-1930) and Alfreda Charlotte Anderson (1874-1913). He married Vera Louie Marsden (1893-1990), daughter of Amos Hyrum Marsden (1866-1931) and Clara May Elsmore (1874-1906). Ancestors, and relatives lived mainly in Sweden, England, Utah and Idaho.
