George T. Ridenour was born 28 March 1845 and lived in Wabash, Indiana. He was the son of David Brewer Ridenour Jr. and Sarah Shauver. George served with the Indian Volunteers, Company E, during the Civil War from 1863 to 1865. He married Mary Ellen Bent in 1867. Mary died in 1890 and in 1891, he married Nancy P. Chapman. Martin Pottorf was born ca. 1685 in Germany and immigrated with his wife Elizabeth Walborn from Wurttemberg, Germany ca. 1710. He was part of a large group of Palatines that was sent to the state of New York by the London Board of Trade. By 1717, Martin and Elizabeth were living in Pennsylvania. Nicholas Reitenauer born 1695 in France, son of Nicholas Reitenauer and Suzanna Windstein. He married Rosina Kershner, born 1700. They had six children born to them in France. The family immigrated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1739, later residing in Maryland. He died in Maryland in 1760.
