William George Clark was born in Ohio in 1854, He married Emma A. Riffle, the daughter orf Jeremiah and Mary Catherine Lightfoot Riffle. They were the parents of seven children and eventually settled in Missouri. Information on many of their descendants is given in this volume. Descendants continue to live in Missouri and elsewhere. .
Includes Riffle, Lightfoot, Clark, and related families.

Georg Friederich Gerwig married Juliana Elizabeth Konig, and they immigrated from Neusatz, Wurttemberg, Germany to Catonsville (now a suburb of Baltimore),Maryland before 1836, and in 1840 moved to land in Braxton County, West Virginia. Mathias Gerwig married Elizabeth C. Uldrich(?) and immigrated from somewhere in Germany to Braxton County, West Virginia. Descendants lived chiefly in West Virginia.
