Sarah Tremain, born 30 June 1795, in Sheffield, Berkshire, Massachusetts, to Elijah and Mary Tremain. She married Ransom Riggs 30 March 1814 at Yorktown. They settled in Livingston County, New York. Edward Riggs was born in 1590 in England. His father was Edward Riggs. He married Elizabeth Holmes (1591-1635) 10 September 1618. They had six children.
