John Montgomery (ca.1771-1830) moved from Pennsylvania (?) to Shelby County, Kentucky, and married Lydia Lucas in 1796. They later moved to Green County, Ohio, and then to various counties in Indiana, finally settling in Lawrence County. Descendants and relatives lived in Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Oklahoma, Texas, Arizona, California and elsewhere. Includes Dale, Jarvis, Lucas, Peachee, Rigdon, Roach, Ross, Wallace, Williams and related families.
