Captain Robert Boyd (ca. 1705-ca. 1761) was born in Scotland. He went to Northern Ireland then came to America about 1737. He settled in what is now Franklin County, Pennsylvania. The name of his wife is unknown, but they had eight children. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Texas and elsewhere.

Thomas Llewellyn was born in 1643 in Glamorgan, South Wales. He emigrated in 1663 as an indentured servant to the Daniel Vernon family in Prince Edward County, Virginia. In 1673 he married Daniel's daughter, Ruth, and they lived in Frederick County, Virginia. They had seven children. Thomas and Ruth both died in 1732. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, California, Arkansas and elsewhere.

Simen Nilsen (Simon Nelson) was born in 1837, son of Nils Nilsen and Berta Olsdatter. He married Johanne Christiansdatter (born 1829) and they emigrated from Nes, Hedmarken, Norway in 1868-1869 to Wisconsin. Descendants lived in Wisconsin, Montana, Iowa, Illinois, California, Oregon, and elsewhere.

Daniel Boothe was born ca. 1719 in Virginia. He married Priscilla ca. 1746 and by the year 1762 they lived the state of North Carolina. In North Carolina he was issued two hundred and eighty acres of land in Orange County. Daniel served the United States during the American Revolution and died between March and November of 1801. He was the father of 15 known children. Descendants lived primarily in North Carolina, Texas and elsewhere.
