John Kitchel was born in 1809 in Morris County, New Jersey. He married Esther Peck in 1833 in Ohio. They had eight children. They moved to Lake County, Indiana in 1836 and to Warren County, Iowa in 1851. He died 3 March 1860 in Palmyra, Iowa. Descendants and relatives lived in New Jersey, Indiana, Ohio, New York, Iowa, Colorado, Oregon, Wyoming, California, Illinois, Oklahoma, Florida, Connecticut, Michigan, Arkansas, Kansas and elsewhere.

Marion Perry, son of Stephen Chadwick Perry and Mary Boggs, was born January 11, 1883 in Springville, Utah. Marion's father lived in plural marriage Mary Boggs being his fourth wife. Marion married Clara Elizabeth Larsen (1892-1986), daughter of James Peter Larsen and Mary Caroline Andersen of Mapleton, in the Salt Lake Temple in 1910. He died at home in Mapleton, Utah in 1959.
