Benjamin Rodgers Meek was born in 1866 in Ogden, Utah. His parents were Benjamin Enniss Meek (1837-1866) and Louisa Rodgers of Pontshill, Weston under Penyard, Herefordshire, England. He married Olivia Alfreda Nielsen, daughter of Peter A Nielsen, in 1892 in Manti, Utah. He died in Preston, Idaho.
