Stanley Lee Morton was born in 1932 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His parents were Stanley Lee Morton (1906-1977) and Florence Curran (1910-1950). He married Ann Dwyer, daughter of Vincent Edward Dwyer (1911-1974) and Helen Catherine Max (1910-2004), in 1957. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Germany, England, Ireland and Pennsylvania.

Michael Newinger (1807-1892) married Barbara Engle, and served for 7 years in the French army. In 1847 the family immigrated from the Alsace area of France or Germany (via Le Havre) to Attica, Wyoming County, New York. Descendants (chiefly spelling the surname Nevinger, with some spellings of Nevenger) and relatives lived in New York, Maryland, Virginia, Michigan, Minnesota, Wyoming and elsewhere.

Alonzo Harrington LeBaron (1818-1891) married Clarissa Bostick of New York ca. 1842. She was born ca. 1825. They later moved to Missouri. Alonzo and Clarissa divorced with Alonzo moving to Utah to join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Clarissa settled near Stockton, Illinois and married Solomon Lawrence. Johann Nickel Schwingel was born in 1698 in Germany. He married Maria Barbara Anschuetz and was a blacksmith. In 1740 he brought his wife and at least three of their four children to America and settled in Pennsylvania. After Maria's death he married Anna Margaretha Haus by whom he had another two sons. Later some of his descendants settled in Maryland. He died in 1786. Information on his descendants and related families is included in this material.
