Fredrick Roop was born about 1765 in Pennsylvania, and died in 1831 at Union Township, Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. He married Elizabeth Abbott (1773-1841) about 1791. Nineteenth-century descendants lived primarily in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Indiana.

Henry died in 1845 in Montgomery County, Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived in Maryland, Virginia, Indiana, Texas, Utah and elsewhere.
