Helena Erickson Rosbery (also spelled Roseberry), daughter of Jens Peter Erickson and Hanah, was born in 1822 in Skone, Sweden. In 1849 she married Carl Rosbery in Malmo, Sweden, and the couple had eleven children. Helena was an early Swedish convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and the family moved first to Denmark and then to Salt Lake City in 1859. Thomas Dillow was born in Virginia in 1786. He married Elizabeth Dillow 30 May 1810 in Charlestown, Virginia. They had seven children. They moved to Champaign County, Ohio in about 1829. Thomas died in 1843. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Ohio, Illinois and Iowa.

George Bechtel immigrated to the United States with his family from the German Palatinate. They arived in Philidelphia in 1728 and settled in Pennsylvania. George had a son named Isaac Bechtell (born 1751) who was an early pioneer and founder of Bechtleville, Berks Co., Pennsylvania. Isaac was married twice and was the father of fourteen children. Descendants lived primarily in Pennsylvania, Illinois, Kentucky, California and elsewhere.

Abraham Shearer (179-1877) married Elizabeth L. Burk, and lived in New York, Vermont, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania before moving to join their children in California between 1860 and 1870. They had seven children (5 boys and 2 girls), and one of the girls died young in Pennsylvania. The remaining children moved to California in 1859 and thereafter. Descendants and relatives also lived in Idaho and Nevada as well as California.
