John Whitham, son of John Whitham and Mary Pearson, was born 25 Jan 1782 in Addingham, Yorkshire, England. He married Hannah Bradshaw, daughter of George Bradshaw and Margaret Snowden, on 20 Dec 1807 in Addingham. They immigrated to the United States in 1820 and lived in Columbia, Pennsylvania.
