Bartholomew Duggan was born in 1823 in Claregalway, Galway, Ireland. His parents were Malachy Duggan and Nancy Curran. He married Mary Cummings (1826-1915), daughter of John Cummings and Mary Fahey, in about 1854. They had three children, Malachy, John (1857-1921) and Sarah. Ivan Washington Jennings was born in 1918 in Medway, Ohio. His parents were William Green Jennings (1888-1920) and Oda Mae Jacobs (1895-1959). He married Ethel Eileen Grimes (1918-2004), daughter of George Grimes and Ethel McGlone, in 1940 in Covington, Ohio. They had seven children. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Germany, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Ohio.

Abraham Bessent (1763-1814) was possibly born in South Carolina and later settled in Brunswick County, North Carolina. In 1803 he moved to St. Mary's in Camden County, Georgia. Descendants lived in Georgia and elsewhere.

Dunbar Rowland (1864-1927) was born in Oakland, Mississippi, son of William Brewer Rowland and Mary Judith Bryan. He married Eron Opha Moore in 1906 in Mississippi. Rowland ancestry is traced to Thomas Rowland, born in 1530 in Baconsthorpe, Surrey, England. The immigrant ancestor is traced to John Rowland II, born in 1614 in Egham, Surrey County, England. He died in James City County, Virginia. He was married to Margaret Bayly.

Laura Nichols was born in Ohio in 1864. She married twice, to James Thompson Herndon and later to Robert Solomon Rowland. She had seven children. She married Hiram Rowland 22 Sep 1794 in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. He was the son of Frederick Rowland and Sealey Huckaby. She died 26 Mar 1840 in Greene County, Georgia. They were the parents of ten children.
