Description
Justus Friederick Stein (1814-1895) and his wife, Marie Elizabeth (1819-1889), of Niederaula, Germany, had six children, 1839-1850. Three of their sons immigrated to the United States. Their son, Heinrich/Curtis Henry Stein (1839-1904), married Christine E. Berlet (1842-1920) in 1861. They had five children who lived to adulthood, 1864-1880. He is buried in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Sibley, Ford County, Illinois. Descendants and relatives listed lived...

Paulus George Markgraf was born in 1731 in Germany. He immigrated to Paulskoye, Samara, Russia in 1767. He married Maria Elisabeth and they had five children. Descendants lived mainly in Russia, Wisconsin and MInnesota.

Heinrich Kornelsen was born in 1807. He married and had a son, Al Heinrich Kornelsen (1835-1903). He married his second wife, Sarah Walde (1826-1897), in about 1848. They had four children. Heinrich Weizel (b. 1878), son of Heinrich Weizel (b. 1847) and Christina Jacobÿ (b. 1846), was born in Norka, Russia. He married Elisabeth Schneider (b. 1878), daughter of Heinrich Schneider (b. 1856) and Christina Knihs (b. 1859), in 1897. Their ancestors emigrated from Germany to Russia in 1766 and 1767.
