William Sabin, born in Titchfield, Hampshire, England in 1609, settled Rehoboth, Mass. before 1692. He married twice and was the father of twenty children. He died in Rehoboth i 1686/7. Descendants listed lived in Mass., Rhode Island, Conn., Vermont, New York, Ohio, Utah and elsewhere.

Parley Pratt Sabin, son of David Sabin and Elizabeth Dorwart, was born 20 October 1848 in Clinton County, Illinois. He married Eliza Jane Bates (1851-1872) in 1872 in Payson, Utah. He married Jacosa Octavia Sims (1857-1886) in 1874 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The had five children. He married Sarah Cecilia Smith in 1887 in St. George, Utah. They had eight children. He died in1924 in Pomerene, Arizona.
