David Lupton and Jo./(Jonathon?) Lupton came to America from Gravesend, England in 1635. Several others were here before Christopher Lupton who was in Norwalk, Connecticut in 1654. James Hansen and Johanna Domgaard, converts to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, immigrated from Denmark to Salt Lake City, and met during the 1854 trip across the plains. James married Johanna after his first wife, Sophia, died. They settled at Mount Pleasant, Utah. Woodrow Grant Hansen (b.1918), a grandson, married Rita Rosalie Sadler in 1939 and settled in Upalco, Utah. Descendants lived in Utah, California and elsewhere.
