William Thomas Lain (1851/53-1930), a son of Rufus Millington Lain and Eliza Ann Lowrance, was born in Tennessee. He married Ida Craven (1856-1880) in 1877. They had one son. He married Lizzie Frances Watters (1862-1951) in 1889. They had seven children. Descendants live in Texas.
