Samuel MacDonald Sarvis was born in 1839 in Indiana. He died in 1889 in Kansas. Lucinda Biggs was born in 1846 in Illinois and died in 1920 in Kansas. Samuel and Lucinda were married in 1865 in Iowa. Contains their family history as well as the history of Lucinda's ancestors. Includes a family group sheet for Samuel and Lucinda and one for Lucinda's grandfather, Sumeral Whitaker (1801-1864).

John Baptiste (1767-1835) married Sarah Ryckman in 1795 in New York, New York; his wife was a direct descendant of Jerome Boucquet (1615- 1709), who emigrated from The Netherlands to New Amsterdam, New York and married twice (once in New York City). Descendants and relatives lived in New York, New Jersey, Wisconsin and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to Ontario and elsewhere in Canada.

Mahlon Mouzon Padgett, son of Job Padget, Jr. and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Boddie was born 22 March 1813 in Moore's Creek, Edgefield, South Carolina. He married Mary Eidson, daughter of John Eidson and Martha Watson on 24 November 1840 in Edgefield County, South Carolina. They had 7 children. Their descendants have resided in South Carolina.

Thomas Morrow was born 28 February 1806 in Greenbriar County, West Virginia. His parents were James Morrow, Jr. and Jane Luddington. He married Matilda Snook (b. 1807), daughter of John Snook and Nancy Brion, in about 1828 in Jackson County, Ohio. They had eleven children. He died in 1855 in Barnes City, Iowa.
