Chiefly, a record of some descendants of Francis Seeley Tozer who was born in Bridgeton, New Jersey in 1877. He was the son of Joseph Seeley Tozer and Anna Maria Davis. He married Rachel Ethel Bowers in 1899. Rachel was also known as Laura Ray Bowers and was the daughter of Philip Bowers and Caroline Ward Mills. Together, they had five children. Philip Bowers emigrated with his mother Rachel from Frankfurt, Germany to New Jersey in [1855?]. In 1880 Philip married Caroline Ward Mills on Christmas Day in Cumberland County, New Jersey. Together, they had nine children. Caroline died in 1912 while Philip lived until 1924. Philip's real surname is not known for sure, but was probably Sherry or Sperry.
