Henry Schmidt (d. 1873) and Barbara Krening (1832-1902) were married in 1850 in Walter, Russia. They had seven known children. Their son, George Schmidt (b. 1869), emigrated in 1886. He married Catherine Wagner in 1893 in Hastings, Nebraska. They moved to Walla Walla, Washington in 1895.

Jacob Schmidt was born in 1840 in Limbach, Czechoslovakia. His parents were Jacob Schmidt and Maria Fok. He married Katharina Kroen in about 1867 and they had eight children. Two of their sons immigrated to the United States. Descendants and relatives lived in Czechoslovakia, Germany, England, Utah, Ohio and elsewhere.

Fredrick George Schmidt (1806-1877) was born at Dresden, Germany. He immigrated to America ca. 1838. He married Caroline Matilda Beadle (1838-1915), a native of Abbeville, Louisiana, ca. 1842. They had fourteen childre, 1843-1867. He died at Johnsons Bayou, Louisiana. Matilda Smith died at Pt. Neches, Texas, and was buried at Smith Ridge Cemetery, Johnsons Bayou with here husband.
