Edward Mader, son of Karl Anton Mader and Karolilna Gruneisen, was born in 1864 in Breisach, Germany. He married Barbara Schmidlin in 1891 in Basel. Switzerland. They had eight children. He died in 1939. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Germany, Switzerland, Ohio, Missouri and California.
