John Schofield was born 3 July 1803 at Newton Heath, Lancashire, England, son of Joseph and Mary Schofield. He was transported to Australia in 1821. He married Bridget Harley 6 April 1829 at St. John's Church of England, Parramatta. John and Bridget had eight children. Bridget died 19 December 1851. John died 12 October 1884. Thomas Ord (1828-1907), son of George Ord, Jr. and Mary Watson, was born in South Shileds, Durham, England. He marrried Eleanor Grant in 1856 and emigrated soon after. They settled in Utah. They had seven children.

Thomas Dalton (b.1732) born at Pembrey, Wales was the emigrant ancestor that emigrated to America and served in the Revolutionary War. His son John Dalton is believed to have been born at Canico Jiggs, Northumberland Co., VA. He married Elizabeth Cooker and they lived in Bucks Co., PA. Several other Dalton lines are also explored. Family members are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and many live in Utah.

John Rowlandson Robinson (1815-1891) and his family immigrated, as converts to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, from England to Nauvoo, Illinois during or before 1842, later moving to Salt Lake City and settling in Paragonah, Utah. Descendants lived in Illinois, Utah, Idaho and elsewhere.

James Alfred Hansen was born 20 March 1901 in Caldwell, Alberta. His parents were James Edward Hansen (1876-1950) and Bertha Lamb (1880-1923). He married Jewel Evelyn Schofield (1902-1971), daughter of William Jonah Schofield and Sarah Jane Udall, in 1926 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had six children. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Denmark, Utah, Nevada and Alberta. Includes Bishop, Newell, Rowley and related families.

John Bishop (1709-1815) was the son of Eleazar Bishop and Sarah Dart, who immigrated from England to Connecticut ca. 1692. John was born in New London, Connecticut. He had four sons, who also were born in New London. They were: Captain William Bishop (1732-1815), Deacon Peter Bishop (1735-1826), Colonel John Bishop Jr. (1736-1815) and Timothy Bishop (1740-1827). Edwin Bottomley (1809-1850), son of Thomas and Hannah Bottomley, married Martha Jessop Scofield in 1829, and in 1842 immigrated from England to Racine County, Wisconsin. Descendants and relatives lived in Wisconsin, Illinois and elsewhere.
