Karl Heinrich Nothdruft (1818-1904) was born in Grossen Rhuden, Hannover, Germany. In 1843 he immigrated to the United States and settled in Missouri. He married Caroline Johanna Kempe (1822-1904) and they became the parents of eight children. Descendants live in Missouri.
