Adolph Schwartz, a jew, was born in 1866 at Stropko, an Austrian-Hungarian village (later in Czechoslovakia), He immigrated to United States in 1833, stayed a short while at New York, then Cincinnati, San Francisco, San Diego, and Juárez, Mexico. Andreas Schwartz was living in Pennsylvania in 1745 when his daughter Catherine was born. His parents have not been identified while he was married to Anna Margaret and the father of 9 children. He died in 1789. Information on many of his descendants who now live in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and elsewhere is included in this volume.

Theodore Reich was born in Idaho in 1915. His family later returned to North Dakota and when he was about 15 his mother moved her family to Washington state. He served in the airforce during World War II and later married Elsie Johnson. They had two children and continue to live in Washington. Information on his ancestral lines who came from Austria and Russia about 1880 is included in this multivolume work.

The Motter family possibly of French/German origin. The oldest identified ancestor, George Motter (1778-1850), came to the United States and settled in the Maryland/Pennsylvania area. Byron Edward Mumford was born 11 February 1882 in Mill Creek, Utah. His parents were Gideon Moore Mumford (1848-1916) and Martha Elenor Crump (1856-1933). He married Lenora W. Butterworth (1894-1984), daughter of Isaiah Butterworth (1868-1920) and Sarah Louise Wright (1871-1960). Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in England, Wales and Utah.

Daniel Graber was born in France in 1779, the son of Peter Graber. He married Mary Frey at Couthenans, France, in 1800. They had eleven children, 1801-1824. The family immigrated to the United States in 1836 and settled near Louisville, Ohio. He died in 1858 in Ohio. Most of the children moved to Allen County, Indiana, in the 1850's. Descendants lived in Indiana, Ohio, North Dakota, and elsewhere.

Narcisse Vieux Juneau was born in Wisconsin in 1821. His father was of mixed blood and worked as a fur trader. He married Madeline Yott and they were the parents of five children. The family later moved to Kansas. Information on their descendants is given in this volume. Descendants now live in Kansas, California, New Jersey and elsewhere in the United States.
