Friedrich Wilhelm Zeuge (1857-1940) married Ernestine Wilhelmine Kamar in 1884, and they emigrated from Germany to Clayton, South Dakota in 1924 (to join a son who had emigrated in 1914), later moving to Boise, Idaho. Descendants lived in South Dakota, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, California and elsewhere.

Karl Zeuge was born in 1806 in NeuMadewitz, Prussia. Some descendants came to the U.S. in the early 20th century. Ferdinand Strauss was born ca. 1815 in Kreis Goldap, East Prussia. His daughter, Amalie (1835-1906) married Johann Friedrich Kamar, ca. 1859. Descendants of both families lived in Germany, Idaho, Washington, South Dakota, and elsewhere.

Johannes Zimerman and his wife, Emma (Anna) Schneider, Mennonites, had seven children, ca. 1818-1838, born in Baden and Alsace-Lorraine, Germany. All the Eibs in this country are related. The different branches in this book go back to Wurttemberg Province, Germany in the early 1500s. The earliest known ancestor, Andreas I Eyb, was born 1536 in Waiblingen, and married Anna Volz in Calw ca. 1553. He was a town pastor in Schorndorf from 1574 to 1590. The Eib family members live in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, Kansas, Virginia, Iowa, Tennessee and elsewhere.
