Neils Peter Ipson (Niels Pedersen Ipsen) (1833-1910) was born in Svaneke, Bornholm, Denmark, son of Jeppe Mogensen Ipsen and Ellen Margrethe Nielsen. He joined the L.D.S. Church in 1854 and married Georgine Maria Keller in Copenhagen in 1854. They later journeyed to Utah in 1856. He later married Inger Lena Pearson Johnson and Inger Kerstine Madsen.
