Jacob Foutz Secrist was born in 1818 in Pennsylvania and married Ann Eliza Logan in 1842. They were converts to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and moved to Illinois and then to Salt Lake City by 1848. They settled in Farmington, Utah. He died in 1855 near Fort Kearney, Nebraska, while returning from a German mission.

Description
Andrew Fry (1762-1842) moved from Virginia to Washington County, Maryland, and married Eve Motz about 1788. By 1801, they moved to Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Descendants and relatives also lived in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Oregon, Washington and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to Alberta and elsewhere in Canada.
Includes Bushman, Hamilton, Hess, Kistler, Thompson and related families.

This Segrist family (with three children) arrived at Philadelphia in 27 Sept 1727on the ship, "James Goodwill" and settled in Earl Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, by 1731 where the other four children were born. Bartholomew was naturalized there in 1761. Includes Siegrist, Secrist, Unger, Fry, Ruby, Frederick, Whitmore, Shockey, Humphreys, Duffy, Wharton, Bowman, Moyer.
