Description
Patrick Harvey was born in about 1766/1771 in County Down, Ireland. He emigrated in 1787 and settled in Pennsylvania. He married Jane Burns (1773-1831) in about 1790 and they had ten children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania.

A record of the descendants of Michael Franks. He was born circa. 1725 in Germany of French German descent and died in German Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania in March 1793. It is thought that he is buried in an unmarked grave in Jacob's Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery. He came with his two sons, Jacob, and Michael Jr. and a daughter Catherine. George Speere was born ca. 1620 in England. He married three times and was the father of twelve children, born 1644-1682, the youngest at Dartmouth, Maine. Descendants listed lived in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Kansas, Washington, Michigan and elsewhere. Few locality names given in record of earlier generations. Descendants spelled their name "Speer" or "Speer".
