The Kauffroth emigrant ancestor was Gerhart (J. Gottfried) Kafroth (1707-1796), who arrrived in Philadelphia on Sept. 17, 1753. He was a member of the Dutch Reformed Church. He settled in Cocalico Township near Ephrata in Lancaster Co., Pa. Jacob Sensiney, a Mennonite, and patriarch of the Sensenig family came to America between 1711 and 1717 from Switzerland. Johann Anton Weber was originally from Winterhur, Canton Zurich, Switzerland. He married Maria Margarethe Herr and immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1711 and later died there. Descendants, many of whom lived in Pennsylvania, changed surname to "Weaver". Work focuses on descendants of Benjamin Buckwalter Weaver (1853-1914) who married Mary Ann Lichty.
