John Ewald (1707-1792) immigrated from Germany (via Rotterdam) to Philadelphia in 1753, served in the Pennsylvania military during the French and Indian War, and settled in Franklin County, Pennsylvania, later moving to Bedford County, Pennsylvania. Descendants (chiefly spelling the surname Ewalt) lived throughout the United States. Includes genealogical data on other Ewalt immigrants.

Daniel Kane, Sr. (1810-1870) was born at Londonderry, County Derry, Northern Ireland. He married Catherine Dixon and four of their eight children were born there. They emigrated to Canada in 1846 during the time of the Great Potato Famine and settled in Huron Co., Ontario. They lived there for over twenty years. John Henry Nodurft, was born 17 December 1781, probably in Germany. He died in Williamsport, Indiana. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Indiana, Ohio and Kansas.

Edward Ball was born in about 1642, probably in England. He married Abigail Blatchley (1649-1699) in about 1662 in Guilford, Connecticut. He died in about 1724 in Newark, New Jersey. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in New Jersey.

Richard Stout was born ca. 1610, probably in Burton Joyce Parish, Nottinghamshire, England, the son of John and Elizabeth Bee Stout. Richard joined the English Navy and was at sea for seven years when he arrived at New Amsterdam. Richard married Penelope Van Princin at Gravesend, Long Island in 1634/5. They had ten children. He was a soldier at the fort at Monmouth, New Jersey, in 1647 and permanently settled there in 1664. He died in 1705. Descendants...
